Picking up from where the part I DVD left off, in 1994, Paul Hakwins and his colleagues took over the Terrace-based Bristol Freighter operation from their defunct employer, Trans-Provincial Airlines.

The majority of Hawkair’s work involved hauling between Bronson Creek’s gravel airstrip and Wrangell in support of the Snip Mine.

In addition to Bronson Creek action, this DVD also includes very interesting footage from the Mule Creek job during the summer of 1995, Bristol Freighter TPA’s performance at the 1995 Terrace airshow, and Bristol Freighter DFC’s UK performance at Heathrow’s 50th anniversary flypast.

The DVD also includes footage filmed at the Bob Quinn strip, some truly amazing low level footage with glorious engine roar filmed from the open rear cabin door, an amazing air-to-air photo shoot with Bristol TPA, and the interesting salvage of TPA after her very unfortunate landing accident at Bronson Creek in April, 1997.

The famous Thompson propliner airlift of March, 1998, and a flight on Bristol YQS up to St. Therese makes this a must-have DVD for serious propliner fans. This DVD is loaded with exterior footage, cockpit footage, lots of landing and take-off sequences, inflight engine footage, run-ups, flypasts, freight loading and more!
