Product Description

This DVD starts off with vintage footage filmed back in 1992 at the Aeroparque featuring Aerolineas Argentinas Fokker F28, Boeing 737-200, 727-200 and plenty of crackling Austral BAC One Eleven and MD-80 action. Argentine Government F28 and Aerolineas Uruguayas FH-227 clips also add to the excitement. Although not up to today’s video standards in terms of image quality and technique, we felt this vintage footage was worth presenting for posterity and as a lead in to the busy action of today.

We then jump ahead 14 years to current day for a landing at the Buenos Aires Aeroparque filmed aboard Pluna 737-200 CX-BOO inbound from Montevideo. After de-planning on the apron, the rest of the DVD is loaded with pro-shot heart-pounding current day action footage filmed runway side and apron side at the Aeroparque.

For Boeing 737-200 lovers, this DVD delivers a great heaping portion. The Boeing 737-200 action doesn’t let up with superb performances by Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral 737-200s, as well as Pluna and Lan Argentina Boeing 737-200s. Of course Aerolineas Argentinas MD-83 and Boeing 737-500 action adds to the excitement, along with Pluna Boeing 757, 737-300 and ATR-42 footage. The stars of the show have to be the Lineas Aereas Del Estado LADE Fokker F27 and F28 performances.
